He told me yesterday that the saw the oil and debris so went away quite convinced the we were sunk. How did the thing go off. I hope that you enjoyed it.
I have not yet got the photographs that you sent, so I suppose that they must have got lost.
Kitchener is out here and said quite openly that the Germans would try for peace within 3 months, I only hope that we won't make fools of ourselves, we usually do.
