saw him dancing round and cursing and it was really too funny for words, at least for us.

How will he be able to explain to his Lady Love the nature of his wound after the war. It will take at least 50 years for this country to ever get back anything like it was before the Germans came. The women round here are far from being beauties, they are very dirty and slovenly, so there is no fear of Gordon or myself falling in love with any of them, and so far we have been very good indeed, but it is hard.
