to write to where my month's allowance is given out. And now we've got winter creeping on us again, it only seems the other day since we were getting ready for summer, the time passes wonderfully quickly, in spite of all, but do hope it won't last much longer. Did I tell you we have or rather had a cinematograph here, but at present something has gone wrong with the lighting apparatus, & it has had to be closed down, it was a great change to be able to go out, & dream all sorts of day dreams, 3 or 4 shows a day, & each one lasted about an hour & a quarter & the entrance fee was one penny! Not bad eh? Everything is run as cheaply as possible, at the theatre for instance the prices vary from 6p to 2p, stalls are 6p so called circle 4p, why its the circle I don't know, the only difference is that for 6p you get a chair to sit on, whilst the others are forms, & somewhat more crowded.
