Scarborough next week to take a course in Field Engineering. Pretty good place to go during the summer, eh? but one will have to be careful of Zepplins. Our Barracks is quite close to Folkstone and it is a gay little place and hundreds of "goiles" up from London.

There are thousands of Canadians in camp around here and I am continually meeting old friends whom I had no idea were here.

They are working us like the devil, and have us on the go from 5:30 am til 5 pm. Have only been in town once as I am so tired after dinner, the hay feels pretty good.

Went over to see the 29th yesterday and they will likely go to the front very soon now.

There are hundreds of wounded around our camp and we hear some very interesting stories of the war. The Canadians have done well and will continue to hold up their end. With best wishes, & kindest regards

Sincerely Rossie
