letter in future. We are having almost summer weather here now. I am glad to say winter is miserable enough at any time. You will soon be starting bathing again I suppose, wish I could be there. We play quite a lot of football here now, each of the 16 barracks has its team, though the weather is more suitable for cricket, still it passes the time away beautifully, our team No. 4 is long way ahead at present & I may mention that I don not play, its too strenuous. I prefer easier recreation such as watching others play. Now I'm about to bring this to a close, I might drop you a card before the month is up, if I can possibly spare one.

Best of love and good wishes,

from your

Maitland.
