Dearest Dodie

Ever so many thanks for your two cards of Dec. 26th & Jan 13th, I was so pleased to hear from you again, it seemed quite like old times, hope there will be more forthcoming, let me know all the news in your next letter. Had a card from Eleanor the other day in which she says she has heard from you, & also that you expect to be coming over shortly (I hope) it will be jolly if that is so, do let me know; the only thing is it takes so long for a reply from you each of your cards took a month coming over, still, I suppose it isn't bad considering all obstacles in the way. Mother is over
