My dear Dody, This will be too late I'm afraid to wish you a Happy Xmas, but better late than never & at the same time, wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Hope you have received my other cards sent from here. We have been here a couple of months now. There's a letter from you at home (my Mother is now staying with my sister Eleanor in Cornwall since Father died.) so I hear but they are keeping it till we get away once more. Please give my regards to Mrs L & May & accept all best wishes yourself.

Yours, Maitland Sommerville Barrack 4
