of course, take strides ahead of us. Ward is one of us, a mere "cadet". He is not quartered here but in one of the University residencies-Burwash Hall on Charles Street. He has gone off to Halifax to be best man at the wedding of his brother who is in the navy. How he managed to get leave is more than I can imagine, as they are very strict here and don't want to give you leave except between noon on Saturday and 8:30 Monday morning. I think, in that time I can get to Hamilton and stay over Sunday if the (illegible) want me to go. Uncle Fred was in Picton last week and said they all wanted me to go down there too-the Bristols and the Davisons. It is very nice of them all to want me to visit them but I am
