THE CANADIAN PACIFIC OCEAN SERVICES LTD. Managers and Agents for Canadian Pacific Railway Ocean Steamship LInes. The Allan Line Steamship Company Limited.

R.M.S. Missanabie Sept. 24 1917

Dearest Mother,

After a four day trip, the the greater part of which was most delightful, we last evening cast anchor in the inner basin of Halifax's wonderful harbour. I believe we are to wait here for some ships from New York and will be convoyed, as one of a fleet, to England.

If such is the case we may be here for two or three days and it is possible we may go ashore, then I can post this to you. I wrote you a letter before we arrived in Quebec, and am wondering if you will get it, as I am not certain that the mail was sent
