126-134. Enemy threw [4. HE ?] shrapnel over 128 - sprinkled the Trench with a phosphorescent substance. 135-142. Intermittent shelling during day + night Six minenwerfer bombs at 138 -139. Rifle fire heavy during morning. A solid steel bulet 3/4" in length pierced the parapet at Essex Farm. - Nickel coating apparently torn off.
