He was born 31 years ago in Newport, Wales, where he received his education. He came to Canada about ten years ago, and resided in the Northwest for a year or two prior to coming to Duncan, where he took up surveying, and was for three years articled to Mr. John Hirsch, B. C. L. S., of the firm Messrs. Hirsch & Clague. Later her left for Courtenay, where he was in the employ of Mr. L. S. Cokely, B. C. L. S. Lce.Cpl. Ciceri is an athlete of no mean ability, being a particularly keen basketball and football player. He was extremely popular in the Cowichan district, where he has a large circle of friends.
