we put in the last night at a rest camp at the port we landed at and then came on to this place this pm. by train. If you can remember where the Huns committed that fiendish crime by bombing a Canadian hospital, some months ago and were there were a number of unfortunate nurses killed, you will know where I am writing from now, I can't give you the name but perhaps this clue will help. I have just had a walk through the town, nothing much to see really, rather a dirty place, though i didn't by any means see it all and it was just getting dusk and I may have missed the best parts! Will have more time to look about tomorrow, we are likely to be here a few days before going up to our Base or "Pool" as it is sometimes called. By the way you might send my letters straight over here now and so save some delay as they are likely to be left lying around
