chap came off today & hurt himself rather badly. It has been awfully nice for me that I have been able to spend several week ends with Florence in Town. We took in some really decent shows together, but of course I told you (Highwood) all this in a previous letter. I was only hoping that old S.M.G. could have turned up on the scene & then we would certainly have whooped it up to some tune! I hope the deuce I see the old beggar before I go across, he ought to arrive anytime I should think, that is if he left Natal in June as we expect he may have done, he is certainly the limit at letting anyone know of his movements. I sent you a cable to your office to let the parents know that he had been heard of, as I know they were getting pretty anxious, as of course we all were. Hope you got it all right & that it didn't give you a start when you first saw it waiting for you in your office!
