they can deliver the goods in France, & after all that's what's wanted. I have met a couple of Victorians in this Corps (officers) Baum do you remember him, he used to play rugger for the wanderers & for Victoria, the other fellow a chap Morley who knows Al very well, he was on the Alaska Boundary Survey with him, seems rather a decent sort, he knows R.T.S very well too. We had a couple of very hot days last week, which ended up by a heavy thunderstorm & it has since been much cooler, we are getting a terrible amount of wind & the dust storms are fearsome, our tents are pitched on an unfortunate spot just at the edge of a large parade ground, as the wind is nearly always blowing our way we get the beastly dust "thick and plenty," it get simply into everything, including "eyes, ears, nose, mouth & throat"! (I quote Mother's saying).

I haven't bought much in the way of kit yet, but I left my measurements at a good tailor on New Bond St Reid Bros. I think D.L.G
