Strand palace Hotel Strand London W.C.2 May 16th 1918 My dear Father I wrote Mother a long letter yesterday so haven't a great deal to tell you. I have enjoyed my leave very much , the only draw back it has been much too short time just flies, one notices it especially in London as there is so much to see & amuse one. I have noticed that time is not the only thing that flies either in London. My pocket book has been rapidly getting thinner of late! However I have not touched my balance in the C.B. of C.
