Will you send this to Florence?

June 6th 1917

My dear Aunt Betty,

Am sorry to have been so slow in thanking you for the things you sent me for my birthday it was very kind of you to have remembered it. Everything arrived safely - [illegible], [illegible] and pipe: Thank you all very much. The pyjamas and stockings arrived O.K. Also just in the nick of time. My wardrobe is becoming rather scanty and I will need a lot of other things before the winter

Most of the things I will write to you about later, but would you in the meantime ask Allan to send me a pair of strong nailed boots size 10. and Harrison to make me a pair of dark grey flannel trousers and tell him that if he sends me an itemized account I will square him up. I am sorry to have to worry you so often, but perhaps
