of aeroplanes around. they were having a great time all to themselves shooting stars around and signaling to one another and observation balloons all around. It sure is a great sight and believe me I sure am glad I am not hauling ammunation for Fritz He has a little plane now they call it the “Red Devil” it is an awful fast one. It sure has got our planes beat at present. But they claim we got one now that has a speed of 168 miles an hour. So I guess we will be chaseing Fritz again pretty soon. Well to-night I am going up to see a bunch of the 172nd boys they came over in drafts to the 72nd and 54th to-morrow night Jackson comes out. So hope to see him about Sunday. Oh say we are haveing a great time here now we got twenty mules now and believe me we sure have some fun. I have seen some great tumbles in the last few days. but the boys handle them pretty
