have another sister in the real sense to me. She has a single sister & I am going to by & see here after the war. But I expect it will stop at that.

The N.C.O who put me under arrest went to Ireland on his first leave & never came back. I always thought him a Sien Feiner. & all the way he showed a desire to do harm & cause trouble yet the damed red tape used here helped him & pul me through a course that if the cause had not been to me so High, would have made me quit soldiering for good & my British loyality would have gone entirely. It is not as good as it was, though I do & shall do all in my Power to help ourselfs. But the system that makes a god of an unknown & untried N.C.O is too old fashioned for the class of men who are Britians best help. The company Officer who I was first up befor was human & I won his respect & liking & he fought very hard for me, hard as he dared with the C.O as stiff as he was & he told my comrades who came over with me (who were very sory at the deal I got) that he only wished he had a Co of men like me. The Segt Major also was in the ordinary course of event with many others Transfered to this Co & the inquirey did not follow me. But my
