But I remembered that most likely was what the enemy wanted I managed to keep under control. You will I am sure see that much of this letter is not to be repeated in Barkerville Pat C. is a very straight man but talks to freely so small talk to be told too much. I have ordered one of the Cariboo bunch & one of our platoon photos for you & one of our platoon for Pat & will send them when we get them. Turners is sending one to Harper Killem was very eager to take a photo of the Cariboo lot also to have me visit his mother which I was keen to do but he never gave me a direct invitation & of late we see very little of him. I expect he is like our selfs pretty busy though we waste a lot of time waiting often cant feel safe to go to out buildings for two men yet perhaps are not called on for 30 min But Killem does not drill much if at all, while I have all drills to attend & lots of lookover jobs in the Barracks such as overseeing the sweeping & cleaning of floor & the folding of bed & Kit & at night & morn have to keep track of our platoon & as L. C. am supposed to keep order in that part of the Building
