June 24th [1917?} A. Core. 3rd C.C.D. Hastings Sussex Dearest Mother. Elizabeths & Vernons letters arrived to-day and I was very glad to hear from you all again. Hastings is a fine place to soldier in. We are living right on the sea front in empty apartment house it is quite a change after the ordinary camps a fellow gets into.
