I was no end pleased to get your letter as I thought everyone in Vancouver had forgotten my existence so long was it since I had heard from anyone. I always appreciate your letters for you have a happy knack of condensing all the filthiest morsels of gossip into a small space. I have been here since September last when I got fed up with being in London and decided to have a shot at getting back to France.
