My dear Flossie

I've have had quite a "mail" from Shaughnessy Heights lately. Two letters from Bob - on succeeding days & a long epistle from Dodie - the very only one for Xmas - but she says in it she was too busy to write any Xmas letters. I thought hers to her Gran must have gone down! However I've no doubt she gets very very tired; I know I do - & it's pretty tiring when one follows on a long hard day - by a very long vigil in our "bunk-hole" alias the kitchen. I've had three such evening's entertainment last weekend Saturday, Sunday, & Monday. Miltie says tell Flossie I regret not coming over to Canada with her many times! She simply dreads - loathes & feels frantic in raids & no wonder! I usually do my correspondence while the guns boom or roar! I spell words wrongly I expect if I only realized it as my share of "nerves"! It was very tiresome on the Saturday as we had gone to bed early (they stay in a small store of sheep. Before -
