very pleased to know that your Father has got something good in view as anything good in Canada at the present time seems to be pretty hard to hear of. I was terribly sorry to hear about poor old Hudson, it was rotten bad luck, but just like those contemptable Huns. it is extrord. inary how Kitcheners death has more or less been forgotten. The great thing is, as you say, he has really finished his work & it can now be carried on by an ordinary man, but it is sad to think he has not been spared to see the final results of his hard work. I had a terrible shock in the death of Ross Cotton. Perhaps
