Mch 2. In bed all day feeling v. seedy.

3. Rain & fog.

4. My casualty report at last turned up. Completed. Med. board exam.

6. Sunny & fresh all day. Met Maj. Baruch ARrOWG who promised help. Bad riot at [illegible] Park [illegible] at Rhyll. This may delay all sailings.

7. After hard rustling & with help of Major Baruch got all my papers comleted & transport warrant. Very into night.

8. Left early for London & caught train for Rhyll from Euston - Arr'd Kimmel Parkland 6.30 pm. Pretty miserable outfit . Riots here seem to have been serious - Some deaths including 1 man raising w flag , 5 killed & 26 wounded.

9. Reported to HQ. Went for stroll down the river Elevy v. picturesque . In pm went for a walk with Capt Jackson 29th Bn & R7A . Had an excellent tea at farmer's cottage. This night a party left for Canada wh. meant little sleep for anyone.

10. Snowy gale with rain - went for a walk.

11. Took a parade out for a march. Snow storm.

12. About 4 in wet snow. Floods everywhere
