8. MARCHING OUT STATE

It is absolutely imperative that a Marching Out State showing the number of Officers, Other Ranks, Animals, 4 wheeled vehicles, 2 wheeled vehicles and bicycles entraining with the unit be sent to the Station 1/2 hour before the advance portion of each unit and handed to the R.T.O.

9. WATER - Water carts will be filled before entrainment.

10. BREAST ROPES - Breast ropes for horse trucks are to be provided by units. Ropes for lashing vehicles on flat trucks are provided by the Railway. Heel ropes will serve as Breast ropes.

11. BRAKE VAN - No personnel or stores will be allowed in the Brake Van at the end of each train.

12. AUTHORITY OF RTO - Any instructions given by the RTO with regard to entraining or detraining must be obeyed by all ranks.

13. WORKING PARTIES - Entraining working parties of at least 50 men will be found as follow:

At BOVES by 5th Battalion, Canadian Engineers. At LONGEAU by No. 2 Company, 2nd Batallion, C.N.G.C.

Os. C. parties will report to the Entraining Staff Officer and RTO at time of arrival of first transport.

Detraining parties, as required by RTOs will be found from units on the 2nd personnel train to arrive at the station and will remain until the station is cleared.

14. NEW AREA - It will be absolutely impossible to despatch billeting parties. At present no instructions can be given as to the concentration of the Division in the New Area.
