Then for the first time Cdn Corps was divided and our 2nd Div was transferred to N Corps under Gen'l Staldome (Bulldog sign) - We were now fighting with Guard & Divn - our relations with Corps HQ & all units were harmonious & cordial throughout - 29 Divn joined this Corps from Gallipole via Egypt. This was the Div about wh. Winston Churchill has so much to say in connection with the Dardannelles fiasco. Jack Lindley commanded a Divn at Lambros.
