Mch. Very fine. To Richmond by motor bus. Lunched at Castle Inn - & walked by river & New Gardens to Sta & so to town. Dined at Scotts & then to see Carminetta (Alice Delysia & Marie Blanche) a bit vulgar but clever & pretty.
15. Had early breakfast in Chancery Lane & got to Victoria in time to catch train at 7.30 am. at Folkestone found at w. Bridgeman [illegible]. Regina looking well. Reached France at 6 pm. Dined at [illegible] which has gone off a good deal especially in service.
16. Entrained early & got off at Colonne Ricourt & found Bn at Divion . Beautiful day.

19. Heavy rain - Lectures on Military Law.
20. Col Latta went on leave.
21. Training reports CO Adj * OC. Cos went in busses for staff drill to Aix Noulette.
22. Ab 1.30 am rec'd orders for Div. relief. ab 8.30 am OC & OC Cos must forward in bus. Preparing for more.
