23-27 Rough & cold weather.
28. Milder - Trained to Villers au Bois. Rispin camp.
29. Sloppy. Specialist training - Many work parties.
Dec 2. All Bn working - no parades. Col. Latta returned.
3 -4. Frosty cold & fine
5. Bright frosty day - [illegible]. & biked to Bethune via Aix Noulette - very tired when am got home long after dark.
9. Preparing to move
10. Entrained at Le Perdu - Relieve 28th Bn by 11:55 pm.in support area. Rode in Fine. No wiring.
12. Night working parties wiring. Supplies brought to Victoria Dump
14 & 15. Fine - Working parties by day & night wiring
16. Snow everywhere. Night patrols.
18. Still freezing by night & day - [illegible] parties as usual - 3 patrols nightly. About 8 pm recd text of intercepted Boche [illegible] safe patrols. Took special measures - extra wire artillery & Bde MGs warned.
