Sund 17 Sept After an inspection broke up our bivouac & marched to Warfroy where we had comfortable billets. Everyone glad to escape the everlasting guns. Received many parcels at Brickfield.

Mond 18 Marched to Valdemaison through storm of rain & rain. Camped in leaky tents on wet ground.

Tues 19th Marched to Bonneville. Fine day. Good billet kindly people. Met Major W Langley on the road.

Wed 20 At Bonneville.

Thurs 21 At Bonneville. Went to St Ouen with bathing parade.
