It is well understood now that the naval battle of Jutland was a decisive victory for our Navy - that our naval commanders not only showed great courage & daring but very great ability & foresight & that the result has made it practically impossible for the German Navy to undertake any large naval operations this year.
The mail has just come in and has brought me my first letters from Ince also a welcome letter and two postcards from Lindley. Would you ask everyone to address my letters to Army Post Office London as we are all being jumped about all over the place.
As Aunt Julia has gone, the rent of the Lytton cottage should go to Susie & Zeffie I think & probably some of the rent already paid belongs to them.
