The letter from Jess which I hope to remember to enclose will give you interesting news. I am glad in a way that Frank is not in Moscow but it looks rather as if he were missing his chances. However even so it is possible that a good many things are missing him. You remember Blinko who was once golf pro at Oak Bay? He joined our Bn as an officer since I left but I found that he had been left behind in a tent sick with only his batman for company.

I met Capt. Hebden Gillespie the other day. His is apparently attached to Col. Ogilvie in charge of transport or something. I also found young Pentreath of 102nd as Area Commandant here. He stutters dreadfully but seemed grateful for a little friendship. He has the prevailing idea of Joe Fall, I am sorry to find.
