Two parcels from Nell - Pentrelew's + your cake I have already thanked for. Leffie's muffler must have meant a dreadful cost in wool to say nothing of the work! I don't like people spending money on me though I do like to think I am not forgotten. There is nothing like letter writing.

It seems that the Christmas card I was sending you got overlooked so will send it now. Not very Christmassy.
