Do you know you have never said a word about the result of the Montreal convention though you have written about it half a dozen times.

I found them talking politics at Divisional H.Q. today (Sunday) where I was up there looking for a Church service which I did not find by the way.

I am glad you have seen something of J.C. Ross. He is not a very heavyweight nor anything as fine a man as many of our officers but still he + I got on very well which was a little unusual. He has seen quite a bit of the real thing but still not quite as much as he probably would give you to understand. He had a bad time at [illegible] though no worse than many others only his nerves did not stand it as well as he would have liked.
