The little Latin quotation at the end is a very fine touch. Indeed if my fate should be the writer's as I suppose it must be I hope you will always apply the last line to me. The whole is as fine an epitaph as a man could wish for. As I know that at any time it may be my part to take a share in the great attack my feelings are precisely those of the letter writer.
