you ever heard of where he is? This Camp Borden is a horribly sandy place and these strong winds blow the sand around in clouds, so that it is most miserable outside. Out quarters are of the best, so we do not suffer any of the real discomforts of a military camp. Some day I will get some pictures of our buildings an send them to you so you can see for yourself how the R.F.C. quarters her men and officers. The only thing there is to kick at is the present mess rate. We pay $1.50 per day but are hoping for a reduced rate after this month. We get $1.10 per day, plus .90 messing allowance and .25 flying pay so we eat up a good deal of our pay.
