In the Field January 22, 1918 Dearest Mother Five of your letters reached me all together, forwarded from Cox's just a few days ago. It certainly was good to hear from you again.I have now recieved nine of your letters in all and I can't understand why there are not more as Cox &Co were aware of my whereabouts always and the Army P.O should have been able to find me through the War Office records. The parcel has not yet arrived but I am expecting it every day. It has probably been following me from place to place in England. In according with your wishes
