Today is a lovely warm September day with an almost cloudless sky and it is fine out here on the deck, where I am writing this. We have had our half-hours physical training, (called "P.T.") and are feeling very fit. This P.T. is something we have taken on ourselves to keep in good health during the trip. We have had few cases of sea-sicknesses as yet, though to tell the truth there was only one day when there was any excuse for "mal-de-mer," when we were in the trough of the sea in the open Gulf. I was not bothered in the least by the rolling of the boat — I have made up my mind not to be seasick on this voyage. Little Tommy Drew-Brock was looking somewhat "pale around the kills" that day, but
