The said deponent saith on his Oath as follows: Saw Plaintiff and defendant at Clan William Saw Ki Chung cut Wang Depp Chong with Hatchet it was about half past six PM I swear that Hatchet marked Exhibit A is what he struck plaintiff with heard no row or quarrelling between them they were in sleeping bar at time Defendant was in his [?] on bed as Plaintiff was passing Defendant struck him and Knocked him down two or three men carried Plaintiff out of bar [?] M Lauchlin JP his mark X Singh
