British Columbia To [?] The [?Service] for our lady the Queen upon their oath present that Chang [?] did at the house of one Lee Fook in [?] of Victoria Prov of BC on the third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine feloniously make an assault [?in] and upon one Choo Kook and her [?] [?] Choo Kook did then feloniously put m[?]bodily fear and[?] danger of her life and did then feloniously and violently steal take and carry away one gold pin of the property of the said Choo Kook from the person of the said Choo Kook and against the will of the said Choo Kook (and that the said Chang knew immediately after he robbed the said Choo Kook as afore said[?] did feloniously use personal violence to one Lee Fook) ap[?] with [?] [?] [?]
