Note in question. shown 1 1/2 years ago [?] it came into view from last Sept. Mr [?] Sworn: lived on [?] Creek 76 and retd to Grouse Creek 26 April 1879. I remember [?] Ah Flan between 26 April to 15 May 1877. he stopped me & wanted to show me a note. I examined it. Wont [?] to it. I saw [?] name on it a witness I do not remember any other name. I think Chinese names dont recollect date or amount The paper was white & torn. I would not swear to the note
