1 130/20 [CORONER] INQUISITION District of Comox Province of British Columbia An Inquisition indented taken at Cumberland British Columbia, the 20th day of May, in the tenth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord the King, before me, John Baird, gentleman one of the Coroners for our Lord the King, for the Province aforesaid, upon the view of the body of Young Gow, then and there within the jurisdiction of the said Coroner, lying dead, upon the oaths of H. L. Bates, G. Morgan, Luis Allara, John Little Reg. O'Brien, F. Scavarda good and lawful men of Cumberland, aforesaid in the said District of Comox, who being now here sworn and charged to inquire, on the part of our said Lord the King, when, where, how, and after what manner, the said Young Gow came to his death, do say upon their oath that We the Jury find that Young Gow, chinaman, who was working at No 4 Mine, Canadian Cellieries Dunsmuir, Limited, at 20 west level, 16 stall was accidentally killed, we find no blame attached to any one.
