By the Foreman - Has the deceased been addicted to smoking or using opium in any way?

Ansr - No!

Coroner - Did deceased get any better after you had given him medicine, and was he able to speak or show any symptoms of sanity?

Ansr He vomited a great deal but from that time, to his death, on Sunday afternoon about 2 oclock, he never appeared conscious of any thing.

Verdict

We the undersigned find that the deceased "Ting Yee" committed suicide while labouring under a fit of temporary insanity.
