two fingers of my left hand they bleed a good lot but bandaging them up tight causes the blood to stop flowing and with care will be alright again shortly. Camp is fixed by 2 p.m.
July 29th. Packed grub from Divide some of the others making a trail towards Buttles Lake; most inconvenient working with my sore fingers every time I make a grab at a twig they start to bleed again.
July 30th. Take a load ahead to Buttles Lake; and come back empty we have to drop 3000 ft between our present camp and Buttles in 3 miles; which is quite a hill to get down & up;
July 31th. Make some sketches today; two of the packers arrive; others are hunting; the usual thing of the Sunday is not "walking in the [illegible]" but washing clothes.
