as rock: no sign of any quadrupeds at this height as there is nothing for them to live on: Home again at 6 p.m.

April 28th Move camp 2 miles in canoes & pack our load 1 mile to a little lake near where our line crosses: We have struck a fairly good camping place today lots of good fire wood. Cedar principally. Pitching tents and general jobs to be done around camp.
