He is not at all impressed with the Peace Conference Gang and says "to the ordinary layman it would appear that we had met together to discuss the fate of the British Empire, rather than the German." I think there is a lot in what he says too, we are allowing that ass Wilson to put forth far too many of his views instead of taking more the lead | He is not at all impressed with the Peace Conference Gang and says "to the ordinary layman it would appear that we had met together to discuss the fate of the British Empire, rather than the German." Government. R.D.G. certainly didn't waste much time in England, but then who would want to with the state the country is in, the labouring classes are carrying on in a disgraceful way. Strikes seem to be the order of the day; a great pity that Germany should have the satisfaction of seeing all this or rather hearing of it. Ronald was terribly fed up with the mess in London, when he was there. Tubes and undergrounds, waiters and I don't know what were all out on strike; he doesn't want to see Scotland or Eng. for the next ten years!!
