It has been an interesting and yet a sad sight to see the French and Belgian refugees returning to their homes we have passed thousands on the roads pulling their few belongings along on make shift carts. Some of the better offs would perhaps have an ox harnessed to a cart, some I've seen with horse and ox harnessed together and walking along side by side, some queer sights all right |
