I made a hurried trip to Namur yesterday, from Ardenne, went by boat up the River Mense I was much interested, it is quite a fair sized river and the trip was quite decent. I had very little time to look around the town however as it was late in the afternoon when I got there, the town is quite large and some very nice shops but everything fearfully "ogspensive", they place was fitted with British Troops.
