CARTE POSTALE

Meux Belgium Nov. 25th 18

My dear Florence

Just a card to let you know I am very fit and hope you are likewise, will send a letter when I have more time. I was much interested in seeing this famous old monument, was very lucky in being able to get there, as we did not pass the spot, however I managed to work a trip in one day by a bit of manoeuvering while billeted at a place called Nivelles. We are going strong on our hike for the Rhine, just did the odd 20 kilos yesterday on cobble stones! We are N. of [illegible] now. Weather has been fairly decent. Wish we had been in Brussels for the great celebration they had. However if we get to Berlin I will be satisfied! Love from E.P.G.
