All the officers who were in the previous gun course to ours have been warned so we expect to be the next in line. I expect though we will be here for another month probably, & possibly more one can't tell really. We haven't quite finished our course on the gun, but should do in another week, then we have to take a short barrage course. I am taking a equitation course as well just now, having an h- of a time, one doesn't have much mercy shown one by the riding master!

The first few days I was so sore & stiff that I was hardly able to crawl, we are made to ride without stirrups a great part of the time & I find it "some" job keeping my seat  especially when trotting. I fell off the other day but fortunately landed softly , had a beast of a horse which was trying hard to get me off all the time, another chap
