to get a day off during the week, as they would never hear of it while one is busy on the gun course & anyway I wouldn't ask, as I wouldn't expect it. However I am quite sure I can manage to get up for the coming week end if I will be there then; as I have only written to her tonight I don't know what her plans may be. I think I could get up to London about Saturday 2:30 pm & stay till Sunday 8pm. Which would be quite worth while even though it is so short. I notice she has been staying at the Berners Hotel, the very name of the place is enough for poor old Heb, as that was where he met with such rotten luck - The confidence trick that I told you about. I told Florence in my letter to be careful of her dough! I was very much amused at your telling me the Jones' had mistaken Yeats house for Grouse Nest! They evidently don't know what a palace we have down on the harbour. How would Ruth be at rounding up the sheep!? You ought to go out to their place at Metchosin & report on same, there's no telling might apply for the shepherds job there some day. I believe they have or had quite a lot of sheep.

[Cheerioh] & Best love,

Your loving son Erroll
